Vacuum leak detector VLXE ..

THE FIRST FULLY ELECTRONIC PRESSURELESS PIPELINE VACUUM LEAK DETECTOR FOR THE MONITORING OF EX-LIQUIDS

With its simple explosion-protected design, the VLXE is also suited, among other things, for the monitoring of ethanol-containing fuels. The assembly of the leak detector must always take place outside of an ex-zone.

Type designation with alarm suppression in mbar:
• VLXE 330 M for pressureless pipelines (e.g. filling pipes)
• VLXE 500 M for suction and filling pipes

Monitorable pipelines:
• Pressureless pipelines with a flashpoint smaller/equal to 60 °C (for Germany smaller/equal to 55 °C) such as e.g. filing or suction lines
• The pipelines must be suitable and sufficiently low-pressure resistant.

=> Assembly kits for the connection of the leak detector are available from the warehouse for all current pipeline manufacturers.

Monitorable fluids:
• fluids hazardous to water
These possible vapour-air mixtures must be heavier than air and classifiable into Gas groups IIA to IIB3 as well as Temperature codes T1 to T3.
If varying fluids hazardous to water are required in single pipelines, these should be monitored with multiple leak detectors for safety reasons. Possible contaminations or unwanted chemical reactions can thus be avoided in a reliable way.

Stored goods:
e.g. diesel, petrol, ethanol-containing fuels

Versions:
Brass or stainless steel (VA-V)

Equipment options:
• Digital pressure indicator M
• Service indications
• Remote monitoring LOD (Leak Detector of Online Diagnostics, e.g. with Ethernet)

Accessories:
• Protective roof
